The Summit Police Department's Juvenile Bureau is committed to the positive development of the city's young people. The Juvenile Bureau is staffed by Detective Thomas Rich. The Juvenile Bureau investigates all juvenile related incidents and crimes within the city of Summit. The bureau also acts in a proactive manner to prevent juvenile crime. They are also able to help parents with crisis children and incorrigible delinquents. The Juvenile personnel always works closely with the city's schools.
