Proper
Child Seat Use
 |
Infants
must be rear-facing until age 1 and 20 pounds.

Children
20-40 pounds forward-facing with harness system.

Children up
to age 8 or 80 pounds must be in a booster seat.

New
Jersey Child Seat Law
 |
Driver is
responsible for all passengers under age 18.
|

Children up
to age 8 or 80 pounds must be in a child seat or a booster seat.

Children
under age 8 who weigh more than 80 pounds must wear a seat belt.

Other
Important Information

a child in a used safety seat unless you know the full history of the

Replace any

an infant in the front seat where there is an airbag.
